Chesterfield Football Club has confirmed the permanent signing of 27-year-old full-back Remeao Hutton following the termination of his contract at Gillingham.
Hutton's Move to Chesterfield
Hutton expressed his enthusiasm for the move after weeks of negotiations. "I know what the team is capable of. I know what they've done in the past few seasons; they're always up and around it and hopefully we can get promoted together," he said.
The full-back highlighted his strengths as he looks to settle at the club. He promised to bring attacking prowess to the squad, pointing to his athleticism and crossing ability as key assets.
What Hutton Brings
Hutton has previous experience facing Chesterfield in League Two. "When I've played here against Chesterfield in the past, they're always hard games and there are lots of people here as well, so you can feel the energy," he explained.
Assistant manager Danny Webb backed the signing, describing Hutton as an attacking full-back whose style suits the club's approach. Webb said the new arrival will add energy and quality to the squad.
