Strange Twig Theatre Company is bringing its family-friendly production of Journey to the Centre of the Earth to the Rose Theatre, Chesterfield, on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, from 6pm to 8pm.

The fast-paced new take on Jules Verne's classic follows Lucinda McTucket and Stanley "Trigger-Happy" Cavendish as a mysterious package sends them on the quest of a lifetime. Their journey takes them through dark jungles and into parts unknown, with mystery, adventure and dinosaurs along the way.

We're really looking forward to bringing the show to Chesterfield. It's a playful adventure designed for children and adults to enjoy together.
