Tipi Christmas will return to Chesterfield in 2026 after proving popular with visitors last year. The seasonal venue will be based in New Square from Thursday 12 November until Thursday 31 December.
The Tipi will feature twinkling lights, seasonal drinks and festive décor. It will be open as a meeting space for shopping trips, theatre visits or meals at local restaurants.
Opening hours
Tipi Christmas will be open Sunday to Thursday from 11am to 9pm and Friday to Saturday from 11am to 11pm. The operator may close early due to bad weather or quiet evenings.
Why New Square
Councillor Kate Sarvent, Chesterfield Borough Council's cabinet member for town centres and visitor economy, said the council's recent town centre regeneration created two market spaces. New Square has been chosen for the Tipi and Grotto to create a festive destination, while protecting the main square for traders and a new Christmas Market.
Bronte Jackson, owner and founder of Tipi Christmas, said the welcome from the community last year was "fantastic" and the team looked forward to building on that success.
