Chesterfield FC has issued health and safety advice for supporters planning to attend Saturday's opening fixture of the 2026/27 season against Fleetwood Town, as warm weather is forecast to continue through the weekend.
Staying Hydrated
The club is encouraging all attendees to drink plenty of water throughout the afternoon. Bottles of water will be available for purchase on the concourses at the SMH Group Stadium.
Sun Protection
Supporters are advised to apply sunscreen before arriving at the ground. The club also recommends wearing a hat or other suitable sun protection while inside the stadium.
